Steve Vanderwater
Steve Vanderwater is the Chief Executive Officer and a managing partner for the Buffwater group of companies.
Prior to the founding of Buffwater, Steve acted in several managing and executive roles in Manufacturing, Supply & Procurement, and Distribution for the energy industry.
With experience leading in both the public and private sectors, Steve has gained knowledge of all aspects of the industry and strives to lead Buffwater by showing value to what he considers the most important aspects of business - his team, the clients, and the vendors.
Kevin Shockley
Kevin is the Chief Financial Officer at BuffWater LLC. He manages the financial and legal records for all of the company’s investments.
Kevin has over seven years of experience as a financial controller, overseeing financial functions including accounting, auditing, treasury, and managing board relations. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in finance and became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 2014.
When he isn't working, you can find Kevin hunting or fishing, watching Texas Aggie Football, cooking on his Big Green Egg, and spending time with his wife and his two kids.
